The Stetson Australia Shoot

There’s something about a Stetson hat that just feels right out here. It’s tough, classic, and doesn’t try too hard — exactly the kind of story we love telling.
Earlier this year, we teamed up with Stetson Australia to bring their latest campaign to life. It was one of those projects that ticked all the boxes — wide-open country, great crew, timeless gear, and a brand that understands what authenticity really means.
Hitting the Road
We packed up and headed out across NSW for seven days, chasing good light and good country. From red dirt tracks to the misty hills of the Blue Mountains, every location gave the shoot its own kind of magic. Our goal was simple — show what Stetson looks like in the real world: dusty boots, early mornings, and people who actually live it.
On Set
Between filming, photos, and live streams, we were everywhere at once — capturing the kind of moments you can’t fake. Hats being shaped on the tailgate, dust swirling in the sunset, a laugh between takes that ends up becoming the best shot of the day.
We built a full content suite for Stetson: hero photography for sales and socials, short videos and ads for digital campaigns, and even live-stream content from events. It’s been pretty cool seeing that footage pop up online and across their channels ever since.
Why It Hit Home
This project worked because it wasn’t over-produced. It was real. We shot where the light was right and the people were genuine. The content has since rolled out across digital ads, socials, live events, and product campaigns, and we couldn’t be prouder to see it all getting used out in the wild.
The Wrap-Up
Big thanks to the Stetson Australia crew for trusting us to tell their story — and to our team for putting in the long days, hauling gear through the bush, and chasing every last bit of golden hour.
This shoot set the tone for what we want Double M Adventures to be all about: good people, good brands, and stories that feel real.
Stay tuned for the next one — the road’s calling again soon.
